North America - Referral Fee ProgramWhat is the North America Referral Fee Program?The Referral Fee Program is available to both Managed and Associate partners. The objective of the program is to acknowledge and reward our referral partners for their role in the sale cycle.
Referral fees are not available where the partner is involved in the resale of the product/services. In addition, partners who provide sub-contracting services to Quest PSO are not eligible for referral fee on the same transaction. Referral fees are paid on license revenue only. Professional Service fees are excluded. Referral fees are paid on net license revenue.
How are the fees determined? The percentage of referral fee is determined jointly with the Quest Sales Manager. A Teaming Agreement will document the agreed upon percentage, and be signed by both the partner and the Quest Sales Manager in advance of the deal closing. Payment levels inlcude:
3% Quest-led Selling 6% Collaborative Selling 10% Partner-led Selling

How does it work? - Register your engagement as early in the sales cycle as possible.
- Your registration will be managed and tracked by our Channel Operations team.
- Your registration will be reviewed and approved by a Quest Sales Manager. You may be contacted to confirm your role and payment expectations.
- Both the Quest Sales Manager and the partner will sign the Teaming Agreement prior to the close of the sale.
- Your opportunity will be updated and tracked in our CRM system, as well as by our Channel Operations team.
- Upon the close of the transaction, your Referral Fee payment will be processed.
- You will receive payment 45 days after Quest receives payment from the customer.
