PowerGUI® Pro offers Version Control integration to provide enhanced change control needed by enterprise administrators. Version control enables administrators who are tasked with managing systems that have sensitive financial or personal data--to successfully meet strict auditing requirements for recording and approving changes. 

Unapproved and untested changes to scripts can result in data loss, data corruption, breach of confidentiality, or even server crashes; enforcing script versioning is critical for avoiding these issues, and for recovering from them.

Using a version control system to track changes to product scripts is the best way to provide a complete change management history of all product code. By preventing unwanted and unapproved changes, managers can be sure they are complying with company policy and are using only code that has been tested safe for their environment.
