Recovery Manager for Exchange

查找、比较和导出Microsoft Exchange信息

Quest Recovery Manager for Exchange可快速方便地进行Exchange恢复和电子邮件查找,不需要专门的恢复服务器。 通过一个控制台,就可在短短几分钟内从不同来源实现信息级数据的查找和检索。 您可以根据发件人、收件人、日期、附件类型、主题、信息关键词或附件关键词进行智能搜索,并将在线邮箱的内容与备份邮箱进行比较,以查找是否存在差别。

System Requirements

Recovery Manager for Exchange includes the following components:
  • Core Components (required)
  • Management Shell (optional)
  • Web Interface (optional)
This section provides system requirements for installing and running each of these components.
ProcessorOn an x86 system:
- 500 MHz or faster

On an x64 system:
- 800 MHz or faster
Memory512 MB of RAM or more recommended.
Hard Disk Space300 MB. Database files extracted from a backup require additional storage space depending on the size of the database.
Operating SystemYour computer must run one of the following operating systems (32-bit or 64-bit edition):
- Microsoft Windows 7
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008 with Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 2
- Microsoft Windows Vista with Service Pack 2
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 2
- Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 3 (32-bit edition only)

Note: Recovery Manager for Exchange does not support Terminal Services Application mode.

IBM Lotus Notes

In order to view, search, and restore Lotus Domino data with Recovery Manager, your computer must have one of the following IBM Lotus Notes versions installed:
- Lotus Notes 8.5
- Lotus Notes 8.0
- Lotus Notes 7.0

Microsoft Exchange ServerRecovery Manager supports the following versions of Microsoft Exchange Server:
- Exchange Server 2010 without Service Pack or with SP1
- Exchange Server 2007 without SP or with SP1, SP2, or SP3
- Exchange Server 2003 without SP or with SP1 or SP2
- Exchange Server 2000 without SP or with SP1, SP2, or SP3
- Exchange Server 5.5 without SP or with SP1, SP2, SP3, or SP4

Note

Recovery Manager does not support Exchange Cached Mode. Before you start working with an online Exchange Server (for example, before registering Exchange mailboxes as storages), make sure that Exchange Server allows connections in non-Cached Exchange Mode.

To work with Exchange Server databases, Recovery Manager requires several files supplied with Microsoft Exchange Server. For detailed information about these files, see the Recovery Manager for Exchange User Guide.
- To link Recovery Manager to the required files originating from Exchange Server 2010, you must install Recovery Manager on a computer that runs a 64-bit version of Windows.
- To link Recovery Manager to the required files originating from the 64-bit version of Exchange Server 2007, you must install Recovery Manager on a computer that runs a 64-bit version of Windows.
- To link Recovery Manager to the required files originating from the 32-bit version of Exchange Server 2007, you can install Recovery Manager on a computer that runs either a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows.
- Support for Exchange Server 2007 is not available when Recovery Manager is installed on a computer running Microsoft Windows 2000.

IBM Lotus DominoRecovery Manager for Exchange supports the following versions of IBM Lotus Domino:
- Lotus Domino 8.5
- Lotus Domino 8.0
- Lotus Domino 7.0
- Lotus Domino 6.5
- Lotus Domino 6.0
- Lotus Domino 5.0
- Lotus Domino 4.6
Quest Recovery Manager for Active DirectoryRecovery Manager for Exchange can integrate with the following versions of Recovery Manager for Active Directory to restore mailbox user accounts from Active Directory backups:
- Recovery Manager for Active Directory 7.11
- Recovery Manager for Active Directory 7.10
- Recovery Manager for Active Directory 7.9
- Recovery Manager for Active Directory 7.8

To integrate, Recovery Manager for Exchange and Recovery Manager for Active Directory must be installed on the same computer.

Warning:
On Windows Server 2003 or earlier, IIS must be running in the 32-bit mode.
If your IIS is running in 64-bit mode, the Recovery Manager Setup will configure it to run in 32-mode. As a result, other applications using your IIS may stop functioning properly.

Microsoft SilverlightMicrosoft Silverlight 3.0 must be installed on the computer from which you want to access the Web Interface.

Note: If Silverlight is not installed, you will be prompted to install it when accessing the Recovery Manager Web Interface for the first time.

Web BrowserYou can access the Web Interface by using Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 or later
